Challenge #4

Hello! It's me, Dasha! And I did social challenge №4 this week. The idea was to made any mistake in the beginning of some university activity to stop being afraid of wrong answers.
You know, it wasn't easy, because I always answer professors' questions too quiet and they don't hear my answers. I'm afraid of mistakes, so I think that this challenge will help me to solve this problem.

I opened wrong presentation during double period where I had public speech. I tried to be calm and confident. I opened the wrong file and start to speak and then I looked at my presentation and said "Oh, sorry, it is wrong presentation, this one is about pugs)))))".

The auditory was smiling with me, but it was great to see that all of people understand that we are all people and we can make stupid mistakes. I was ok with that. I didn't feel nervous. Also, the professor was kind with me.

Now I'm sure that the existence of mistakes is important. In such situations we should act in a nature way, because there is nothing to worry about. Everybody makes mistakes every day. It is a huge part of our life. The biggest mistake you could ever make is being afraid to make one.

I'm glad that I'm not afraid of mistakes anymore. Now I'm more confident with my answers!

  1. I love the story and the challenge you have completed.
As for the introduction, I'd recommend NEVER start your speech with "Hello! My name is.. " It seems a bit lame. Why wouldn't you write something like "Have you ever made mistakes on purpose? I have. Just last week"? ;)
