Challenge #1

Reading for my best friends.

It's hard to imagine that reading a book to your friends could be difficult. As you can see, I didn't think so. My best friends have never heard me speaking English. Never. It's not a joke, believe me. Well, I don't know why I was afraid of my friends in this situation. They know me like nobody else. I think I had some reasons for that. I appreciate their opinion a lot and that thing confused me. What if they will decide that I'm bad at English? What if they will start to laugh at me? I was so afraid of it. But at the same time, I understood that they're kind to me and my fears won’t come true. 

I was thinking a lot about this feeling. My friends are in different universities and they don't study English. They have different majors. Imagine, I helped them with their English tests! Why am I so afraid of them? It looks funny enough right now, after my reading challenge. They said that they happy to hear me speaking English. They also said that they liked my pronunciation. Now I feel more comfortable and confident to speak with them, because it was my secret and now they know it. It's a little victory for me. I'm looking forward to start the second challenge!
